1. What do you think causes the achievment gap? The kids couldnt understnad it . Parents didnt care so students didnt care.
2. What can students do to close the gap? Have them stayed focused on their education. Join after school programs. Get all the help they need.
3. What can parents do? Put their chidren in a early school. They can see themselves as teachers and work with them.
4. What can teachers/schools do? Open after school programs. Dont be to hard on the students. Help them instead of scaring them.

1. What did you think of Mr.Hayden? It was really interresting on the things that he said and the answer for the questions we asked him.
2. Tom Hayden does not think of himself as a civil rights leader. Do you see him as one? Why or Why not? I see him as a civil rights leader beacuase he helped the blacks and was involved in black programs. Not only blacks but also chicanos.
3. Tom Hayden feels that leaders are not as important as the hundreds or thousands of people behind them. What does he mean by that? If those millions of people never followed them they wouldnt been a leader. They wouldnt even been famous the people made the world notice the leaders.

Yesterday I went to my friends house and jammed with my guitar everyone likes it. They like it because when they play it it makes them feel like jimi hendrix. Also one of my friends wrote a song and we made it up. My guitar(my baby) is very cool its just like jimi hendrix guitar shiny and well taken care of. My next guitar is eric claptons.
